School House sits at the heart of Sherborne Boys – both physically and historically. Located beside the Courts, it is the School’s oldest House, with the original Old School Room dating back to 1606 and still used by boys today.
But its motto – School House is what you are – speaks to more than heritage. It reflects a belief in every boy’s potential: to grow in confidence, discover his talents, and have them celebrated.
The House has a strong culture of support and friendship. Senior boys take their responsibilities seriously, but it’s in the everyday relationships – across all year groups – that the warmth and character of School House truly shine.
