Katherine Massey

Director of External Affairs - SSG

Katherine is Director of External Affairs for Sherborne Schools Group, a new role established in March 2024 to unite the Group’s Marketing, Admissions, Development/Foundation, and Alumni teams. She is responsible for developing and implementing a Group-wide strategy for marketing, pupil recruitment, and engagement with the wider community, including parents, alumni, and other partners. As a member of the Executive Committee, Katherine works closely with the Governing Body and Chairs of the Marketing & Admissions and Commercial Committees.

Katherine brings to her Group role, over ten years’ experience at Sherborne Girls, where she held a variety of senior roles as part of the School’s Senior Leadership Team, overseeing Admissions, Marketing, and Development.

An Old Girl of both Sherborne Girls and Hanford Prep, and a past parent of the two senior schools, Katherine has a deep understanding of the school communities she serves. She began her career in advertising, then moved into Business-to-Business Marketing, before joining education in 2010 as Marketing Director for Tanglin Trust School, Singapore. She holds a BA (Hons) in Languages for Business and a CIM Marketing Diploma.
